Recommended Leatherette Patch Setup

1. Use leatherette with a heat-activated TPU adhesive backing. Foam-backed TPU leatherette is recommended for a firmer finished hat patch.
2. Apply the adhesive hook sheet to the TPU-backed side before engraving & cutting the leatherette sheet.
3. Engrave the leatherette face using your normal tested settings.
   
4. Following the completion of engraving, complete the final cut of your design.
5. Clean your finished patch and allow the patch to cool and inspect the bond before attaching it to a loop-receptive hat or product.

Material compatibility matters: PSA alone may not create a dependable production bond on untreated fabric, bare foam, or leatherette without a compatible adhesive layer. Always test your exact leatherette, foam, adhesive, and laser settings before a full run.

Shipping and Packaging

Shorter cuts ship flat whenever possible. Larger cuts and higher quantities may be rolled to fit safely in one package and avoid unnecessary oversized shipping charges. Rolled material may arrive with some curl in the release liner, but will lay flat once backing paper sheet is removed prior to application.
