PATCHBUILT LLC Refund & Exchange Policy

Return Window (Non-Custom Items Only)

We accept return requests for eligible, non-custom items within 30 days of confirmed delivery.

Returns are not guaranteed and are subject to approval and inspection.


Shipping Damage & Incorrect Orders (Time-Sensitive)

Shipping damage, defects, or incorrect items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery by contacting support@patchbuilt.com.

Failure to report shipping-related issues within this window constitutes acceptance of the order as delivered.

Claims submitted outside this timeframe may be denied.


Return Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for a return or exchange, items must:

  • Be unused, uninstalled, unmounted, and unaltered
  • Show no signs of wear, mounting, adhesion, heat application, or handling
  • Be returned in original packaging with all included components
  • Include proof of purchase

Items that show evidence of use, installation, or modification will be denied or subject to a partial refund at PATCHBUILT LLC's sole discretion.


Return Authorization Required

All returns require prior approval.

Do not send items back without authorization. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted and may be returned to sender.

Approved returns will receive return instructions and the correct return address.


Return Shipping Responsibility

  • PATCHBUILT LLC covers return shipping only if the return is due to our error (wrong item or verified defect).
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for all other approved returns.
  • We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping method.

Inspection & Refund Review

All returned items undergo inspection before any refund or exchange is approved.

PATCHBUILT LLC reserves the right to:

  • Deny refunds for used, damaged, altered, or incomplete returns
  • Issue partial refunds based on condition
  • Provide photo documentation when refunds are reduced or denied

Refunds are not issued until inspection is completed.


Non-Returnable Items (No Exceptions)

The following items are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Custom, personalized, engraved, or made-to-order products
  • Tumblers, drinkware, hats, or wearable items due to sanitation and health safety reasons
  • Items that have been mounted, installed, or heat-applied
  • Sale, or overstock clearance items
  • Gift cards
  • Consumable, perishable, or personal-care products
  • Hazardous or regulated materials

Exchanges (Limited)

Exchanges are subject to approval and inspection.

  • Returned items must meet all eligibility requirements
  • Custom or personalized items are not eligible
  • A $7 flat outbound shipping fee applies to approved exchanges unless the exchange is due to our error
  • PATCHBUILT LLC reserves the right to deny exchanges for used or altered items

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method after inspection approval.

Processing times vary based on volume. Please allow additional time for your financial institution to post the refund.

Shipping fees are non-refundable once an order has been marked as fulfilled, including standard and expedited services.


Cancellations

Cancellation requests must be submitted by email to support@patchbuilt.com.

Standard Order Items

Orders for standard, non-custom items may be canceled up until the order is marked as shipped and/or a shipping label has been generated.

Custom Orders

Custom orders are not eligible for cancellation once production has started.

If a customer requests a cancellation for a custom order, we will confirm by email whether production has begun.

  • If production has not started, the order may be canceled.
  • If production has started, the order is no longer eligible for full cancellation.
  • If only part of the order has been completed, the order may be adjusted or modified based on the portion already completed.

Important

Once an order has shipped or a shipping label has been produced, it is no longer eligible for cancellation.


European Union Customers (Statutory Rights)

For orders shipped into the European Union, customers may exercise their 14-day right of withdrawal, except for:

  • Goods made to the customer’s specifications
  • Personalized or custom products

Returned items must be unused, unaltered, and in original packaging. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise required by law.
