PATCHBUILT Shipping Policy

For purposes of this policy, PATCHBUILT LLC, PatchBuilt, and PB are used interchangeably and refer to the same entity.


Order Policy & Platform Use

All orders must be placed through our official website (www.patchbuilt.com) or an authorized point of sale (POS).
All order data is securely encrypted during transmission. PATCHBUILT does not store any financial information.

PATCHBUILT is not responsible for orders placed through unauthorized methods such as social media messages, third-party sites, or offline requests.
If incorrect or incomplete customer information causes order delays, PATCHBUILT is not liable. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve such issues once identified.


Free Shipping Thresholds (U.S. Lower 48)

Free standard shipping applies to qualifying orders shipped within the 48 contiguous U.S. states and Washington, D.C., based on the order subtotal after all discounts, promotions, and store credits are applied.

  • $45+ for most patch products
  • $99+ for sheet materials and blank supplies

Free shipping eligibility is determined by the final discounted subtotal, order contents, and shipping destination at the time of checkout. Certain products, product bundles, oversized items, or items requiring special handling may be excluded, as noted on individual product pages.

PATCHBUILT reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue free shipping thresholds or eligibility criteria at any time. Orders placed prior to a change will be honored based on the terms displayed at checkout.


Carriers & Shipping Methods

PATCHBUILT’s primary carrier is USPS, though larger shipments may be sent via UPS or FedEx at our discretion.
Free shipping orders typically ship via USPS Ground Advantage, however may also ship via UPS or FedEx.

Expedited options are available upon request by contacting support@patchbuilt.com before ordering.

Available carriers:

  • UPS Ground / UPS Next Day Air
  • USPS Priority Mail / USPS Priority Mail Express
  • FedEx Ground / FedEx Standard Overnight
  • DHL eCommerce (for international orders, including Canada)

PATCHBUILT is not responsible for carrier delays due to weather, routing errors, or other service interruptions once a package has been tendered to the carrier by PATCHBUILT personnel.


Processing Times

Orders are typically processed and shipped within 3–5 business days, excluding weekends and holidays.

During periods of high order volume—such as holidays, promotions, product launches, or sales events—processing times may extend up to 7 business days. These timeframes reflect production and order handling only and do not include carrier transit times.

Customers will be contacted via the email address provided at checkout if any issues or delays arise.
PayPal customers: please ensure your PayPal email address is current, as PayPal may override your default contact information.

Custom branded / engraved products are excluded to any defined time based processing windows. Processing times will be provided on a per order bases to ensure we remain accurate to our current production queue time windows.

Transit Times & Live Rates

Carrier rates are calculated automatically at checkout based on package weight, dimensions, destination, and applicable handling fees.

Transit times are carrier-provided estimates and are not guaranteed by PATCHBUILT. Once an order has been handed off to the carrier, PATCHBUILT is not responsible for carrier delays, service interruptions, or delivery exceptions.

Shipping charges include a minimal handling fee of $1.25 to cover packaging materials, order preparation, and carrier logistics.


Shipping Protection (Optional)

Optional Shipping Protection may be added at checkout to cover qualifying carrier-related loss or damage during transit. Packages marked delivered but reported missing are reviewed case by case and are not automatically covered.

If a claim is approved, PATCHBUILT may provide a replacement, reshipment, or refund depending on the circumstances of the claim. Original shipping charges are not refunded.

If Shipping Protection is declined, the customer assumes responsibility for working directly with the carrier and managing any available carrier claims or investigations. PATCHBUILT may, at its sole discretion, assist with claims on a case-by-case basis, but is not obligated to do so.

Shipping Protection does not automatically cover packages marked as delivered by the carrier. Delivered-but-not-received claims are reviewed case by case and are not guaranteed for approval. Carriers may deny claims for packages showing confirmed delivery.

Shipping Protection fees are non-refundable once an order has been fulfilled or shipped.


Lost, Damaged, or Missing Items

Customers must inspect their shipment within 72 hours of delivery and report any issues to support@patchbuilt.com. Failure to notify PATCHBUILT within this timeframe constitutes acceptance of the order as delivered.

PATCHBUILT is not liable for shipments marked as “delivered” by the carrier but reported as missing or not received. Delivered-but-not-received claims may be reviewed case by case if Shipping Protection was purchased, but approval is not guaranteed.

If Shipping Protection is declined, the customer is responsible for working directly with the carrier and managing any available carrier claims or investigations. PATCHBUILT may, at its sole discretion, assist on a case-by-case basis but is not obligated to replace, reship, or refund the order.


Undeliverable / Returned Shipments

Orders returned to PATCHBUILT due to incorrect, incomplete, or invalid shipping information, failed delivery attempts, refusal of delivery, or any carrier-designated “undeliverable” status are the sole responsibility of the customer.

In such cases, the original shipment is considered fulfilled, and a $7 reshipping fee will be required before the order is reshipped. Reshipping will only be processed once updated and verified address information is provided and the reship fee is paid.

PATCHBUILT is not liable for delivery failures resulting from customer-provided information or recipient availability. No refunds will be issued for orders returned under these conditions.

International Shipping (Canada, Alaska, Hawaii)

PATCHBUILT ships to Canada, as well as U.S. non-contiguous states and territories, including Alaska and Hawaii. Shipping rates are calculated in real time at checkout.

For international orders, customers are responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, and any additional charges imposed by the destination country. PATCHBUILT will not falsify customs declarations or declared values under any circumstances.

Transit times vary and may be affected by customs inspections, clearance delays, or carrier processing times. PATCHBUILT is not responsible for delays, failed delivery attempts, or packages that are refused or unclaimed by the recipient.

Shipping Protection is strongly recommended for all international orders.


Estimated Delivery Timeline

Estimated delivery timelines for U.S. orders are provided for reference only and are not guaranteed.

Most orders are processed within 3–5 business days, with delivery timelines varying based on carrier service, destination, and transit conditions. During high-volume periods, total delivery timelines may extend beyond standard estimates.

Delivery times may be affected by factors outside of PATCHBUILT’s control, including weather, carrier delays, logistical disruptions, or peak shipping periods.


Third-Party Delivery Estimates (SHOP App)

Delivery dates or timelines shown through third-party platforms, including the Shop app, are automatically generated estimates and are not controlled or guaranteed by PATCHBUILT.

All processing and delivery timelines are governed by PATCHBUILT’s published shipping policies. Third-party estimates may not reflect actual production timelines, carrier delays, or peak-volume conditions.
