Our Lifetime acrylic patches are intentionally built with a more rigid backing. The stiffness comes from the high-strength acrylic construction, which is what gives these patches their durability, sharp detail, and long service life. Unlike soft PVC or fabric-backed patches, these are designed to hold their shape, resist cracking, and withstand heavy use over time.
That said, we totally understand that flexibility can be a preference depending on where the patch is mounted. If you’re ever looking for a more flexible option for hats or curved surfaces, our leatherette patch line may be a better fit.
