Step 1

You Send the Logo

Start with your design — sketch, screenshot, or finished logo. We accept just about any format. Once we receive your file, we review it and prep it for conversion. No fancy software needed on your end — just send what you’ve got.

Step 2

Vectorization

We take your submitted design, pull it apart, and convert it into a clean, scalable vector format. This step removes any blur, noise, or pixelation so your brand is engraved with crisp, defined lines. It’s a manual process — not an app — so every detail gets the attention it deserves.

Step 3

CAD Setup + Prep

This is where we hone in. The moment where everything matters the most in getting it right for you, the customer.

We prep the layout, size, and material alignment in CAD software to ensure it engraves clean and consistently every time.

Material is setup within our system, aligned and the project is started. A Hands on process from start to finish.

Step 4

Engrave + Cut

Your product gets brought to life through high-speed laser engraving. We dial in the machine settings based on your material and design — ensuring deep contrast, clean edges, and reliable performance. This is where the real transformation happens.

Step 5

Clean + Inspect

After engraving, each patch is carefully cleaned and inspected by hand. We remove any residue, double-check alignment, and make sure the engraving looks sharp and consistent before moving to packaging.

At Patchbuilt, we are not afraid of calling out what is wrong and starting over. Any branded products we feel we wouldn't represent our name on due to quality, is redone as if its our own name.

Pack & Ship
